Captain Spears is a character that only appears in Twisted Metal (1995). He is the original driver of Roadkill who was later replaced by Marcus Kane in Twisted Metal 2.

  • It is implied that he died in Twisted Metal (1995), as he has not reappeared in other games.
  • Captain Spears is one of two characters who have a military rank but did not drive Warthog, the other being Mr. Grimm in Twisted Metal: Black.
  • Captain Spears is one of two characters in Twisted Metal (1995) who has a negative end result; along with Carl Roberts.
  • Captain Spears is also one of two characters who has driven Roadkill once. The other is John Doe.
  • His backstory and ending would later inspire Agent Stone's in Black, as the latter's ending in said game is similar to Spears'.
