Orbital is a new vehicle for Twisted Metal 4, being a fast car with a very helpful special.

• Teleorb: Fires a blue orb which pulls enemies close to its center, similar to Rob Zombie's Special. When the orb detonates, anyone caught within its blast radius will be frozen. However, this weapon does not deal any damage.

Trivia

• Orbital's face is a homage to Harvey Dent (AKA Two-Face) of the Batman series. However, his "Secret Agent" status, manner of speech, and British accent is almost certainly a direct reference to Sean Connery's portrayal of James Bond.
  • Another thing that supports his reference to James Bond is that he works for an organization called the British Intelligence Service; while Bond works for the Secret Intelligence Service.
• Orbital and Agent Stone share a couple of similarities; both drivers are British spies and they both drive a sports car. Because of this, it could be possible that Orbital was Crimson Fury's replacement or successor in TM4, but this has yet to be confirmed or denied.
• As seen in TM4's instruction manual and his ending cutscene, Orbital's tuxedo color is usually white and red, while in his info portrait, it appears grey and black. Whether this is an error, another reference to Two-Face since he usually wears a black and white suit or a result of lighting is unknown.
• In the September 29, 1999 prototype of Twisted Metal 4, Orbital's Special launches an orb which pulls opponents to its center similar to the final version. However, after a few moments, a portal leading to a random location is generated in its place, giving meaning to the name "Teleorb". The player could either use this to teleport away from a tight situation; or launching it at an opponent, sending it somewhere else.
• Also in the same prototype, Orbital's bio dialogue was a bit longer. The full dialogue was: "I'm not seeking revenge. I'm not looking for compensation. All I want is to be like everyone else. I just want to be able to lead a normal life like the next man. That's it really."
