Firestarter is a vehicle that only appears in Twisted Metal 3, and resembles a classic hot rod.

Its special weapon resembles that of Thumper from the previous games - a flame thrower which burns through enemy armor.

• Firestarter is one of the 4 vehicles who borrowed from Thumper's original flamethrower Special Weapon. The others include Drag Queen, Crimson Fury (2012), and Kamikaze.
• Other than a pure desire to add characters, it is unknown why exactly Firestarter was added to TM3's roster, considering Thumper was already included and Firestarter contained it's original Special.
• Darkside's flamthrower in Twisted Metal 3 seems identical to Firestarter's.
