The Remote Bomb is a weapon introduced in Twisted Metal 2. The weapon is a bomb that can be placed by using the fire weapon button to set it. Press the button again to detonate it. This weapon does devastating damage.
In Twisted Metal: Black, remote bomb have a unusual aspect, Gas Can (new name): may be used in two ways: first as a weapon that can be detonate any time, the player can launch it over the air and detonate, it will damage a near area of explosion and burn the target if gets hit close enough, second its works like standart remote bomb, like in Twisted Metal 2, except for this time that bomb have a limited time to be detonate, if it remains too long on the ground, will be result in fail and the bomb will be destroyed without explosion damage or effect.
In Twisted Metal (2012), the Remote Bomb can be shot and attached to a vehicle or the environment and can be delayed to cause more damage.
