Trivia[]

  • Rob Zombie is the first, and only character in the Twisted Metal series that references a real-life music star.
  • The video that was seen in the ending, came from the music video for "Superbeast".
    • The video's music uses the Girl On A Motorcycle Mix of Superbeast's intro.
  • In the credits, it is said that Rob Zombie is voiced by himself, although other sources say he's voiced by Jon St. John who also voiced Melvin and the Trash Man. It's most likely John St. John voiced the head from the ending and his bio, while Rob Zombie himself is credited for the music video in the ending.
  • His vehicle is called the Dragula, named after one of Rob Zombie's songs. This song, in turn, was inspired by the Dragula racing vehicle as seen in "The Munsters". Also, the song is used in the Construction Yard level in TM4 as the (Si Non Oscillas, Noli Tintinnare) version.
  • He is one of the two characters in the Twisted Metal series to drive an old-fashioned vehicle. The first being Firestarter from Twisted Metal III.
  • He is the first character in the Twisted Metal series that is undead. The second being Mortimer Scharf from Twisted Metal: Head-On).
  • He is the third character in the Twisted Metal series (and in Twisted Metal 4) to have someone else speak for him in the game. The other two are Needles Kane and Captain Grimm.
  • Mr. Zombie is the third vehicle in the series to use the title of "Mr." before its name. The first being Mr. Grimm and the second being Mr. Slam.
  • In an early version of the game dated October 21, 1999,[1] his bio dialogue was much longer than what ended up being used in the game. The full dialogue was: "He writes the songs that make the young souls screeeeeeeeeam! He writes the songs that make the undead dreeeeeeeeeam! He writes the songs that make the old souls cryyyyyyyyy! He writes the songs! He writes the sooooooongs! *Evil laughter*"
  • In an even earlier version of the game dated September 29, 1999,[2] Mr. Zombie's special was very unfinished, being a blue circle with electricity around it with no sound effect or skull graphic. The special used to be named "Electraskull".
